If you rename the presentation catalog in the presentation layer, those requests that are based on this subject area will be working fine without any issue. However when you want to edit the request, you will get the following message on the left pane:
“Either you do not have permission to use the subject area SUBJECT AREA NAME within Answers, or the subject area does not exist.”
Solution:
Go to Advanced tab, correct the subject area name and click set XML button, you will see the presentation attributes on the left pane immediately.
